How long will you cage us ?

Tehreek-e-Aazadi

The current situation in Kashmir valley is reminiscent of the events of 1990's, when lacs of Kashmiri's came out on the streets shouting themselves hoarse with Anti India, Pro freedom and Pro Pakistan slogans.

Today’s protests represent the same people, the same aspirations and the same sentiment. People are protesting against the Indian occupation, the siege that Indians with the might of their savage army has subjected the people of Kashmir to.

The only slogans that reverberated Kashmir these days are :

HUM KYA CHAHTAY – AZADI
AZADI KA MATLAB KYA - LA ILLAH A ILLA ALLAH,
JIS KASHMIR KO KHOON SAY SEENCHA – WOH KASHMIR HAMARA HAI
BHARAT K AIWANO KO - AAG LAGADO AAG LAGADO
PAKISTAN SE RISHTA KYA - LA ILLAH A ILLA ALLAH
YAHAN KYA CHALAYGA - NIZAM-E-MUSTAFA.

On the 11th Aug 2008, A Kashmiri separatist leader, Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Aziz and seven other protesters were shot dead by Indian troops, as they tried to halt rallies by more than 100,000 Kashmiri's in the region to reach out to their brethren in Pakistan. The marchers had reached a point just 40km from the heavily militarised border, despite repeated efforts by Indian police and paramilitary forces to stop them with tear gas, bullets and batons. More than 300 people are reported to be critically injured on the same day.

Like a daily pointed out, It was a scene ‘Where the chests outnumbered the bullets’.

Until the 17 Aug, around 30 people offered shahadat and thousands were injured.Like the program on 11th Aug, there were huge freedom marches like "Pampore chalo" where more than 6 lac people attended and "Iddgah Chalo" which witnessed a swarm of more than a million people. To the eyes of a sane it was no less than a Public referendum. It was overwhelming. I'm sure It intimidated the Indian Institutions and made me believe that "Aazadi is just a blink way". but every tryant tries to forces his way with the use of force.
Since then, marshal law like curfew has been imposed in kashmir, people have been indiscrimnantly shot at , religous places have been desecrated with contempt , homes have been ransacked , youth have been subject to nazi torture , widespread destruction and cold blooded murder have been carried out by the indian institutions.
My mind fails me if i'm led to believe that the police or army can do such activities on their own. I agree, Indians are a savage race, inherently communal and horrendous in nature but even then when the cognisance of such events is not taken, my and our belief as a kaum is reaffirmed that, all this - like it has been done before is a conspiracy of new delhi. last time they covered up their ill designs by framing our struggle as a mujahid moment and killed at will but this times they're running out of excuses. it's not that they care, they usually get away with everything. Take my word for it, the American porn industry has more credibility than the indian media and when out own media highlighted their atrocities, they gagged it and tamed the journos with batons and bullets.
Shame India Shame. Shame on the Indian people. Shame on the Indian State.
Economic blockade; they thought we'd care more about food than our freedom. afreen to the people of kashmir, the matrys and the mujahideen who've time and again stood up for the cause.
We don't have 1 billion people like india, we don't produce children in every sewage, gutter and pot hole but with whatever people we have, Some day we'd bring down india - brick by brick.

Jammu has proved to be a part of india during the recent course of events. I agree, Jammu and Kashmir cannot be conceived in the same breath now and unlike India we don’t believe in forced association thereby one should appreciate Mirwaiz Umer Farooq’s statement that, If people of Jammu don’t not want to be with us in this struggle, we cannot force them. They’re at will to do anything” So, If these couple of districts plan for a Dograstan or accede to India with intent, Good for them.

But when it come to Kashmir- Srinagar, Sopore, Varmul, Kupwara, Shopian, Islamabad, Kulgam, Uri, Tangdar, Rajouri, Poonch – Damn it, when it comes to any of us, any Kashmiri, We were and will always stand against the occupation by India and the oppression by the institutions ok India.
This revolution of sorts has washed off whatever New Delhi had cultivated since 1996 as a result of baseless propaganda. This agitation again reaffirms how fiercely the protestors resented the Indian presence in Kashmir and how much anger they’ve in store for everything Indian.

It shows how foolish Indians are. All Kashmiri Muslims, without exception, are nowhere near accepting India as their country. Indians delude themselves with the assumption that Kashmir problem is a creation of Pakistan. It is high time they recognize that Kashmir problem is because of a curse named India itself.

I believe that Indians should start thinking beyond Kashmir...What is the point of having Kashmir forcibly as a part of your country when it’s people call Indian army (revered by every Indian) as ‘Hindustani Kuttay’ and Indians, foreigners.
Indians, GET A LIFE.

OOps, this means even now, with such a huge military occupation, the crown hasn't entirely been "looted" by India.
